Keeping food safe for all: food safety across industries
This interactive CD-ROM provides an introduction to food safety across four key industries: hospitality, health and community services, retail and food processing. Learners can watch workplace video clips with narration explaining the basics of safe food handling; accompanied by wriiten content, definitions of difficult words and multimedia exercises to test themselves on their knowledge.
The resource covers aspects from four units of competency from four different Training Packages:

- HLTFS207B Follow basic food safety procedures (HLT07)

It covers common elements from all units, as well as providing industry specific examples where necessary.
The CD-ROM caters to a range of learning styles by including both audio-visual and written content. It is written in plain English and contains straightforward explanations of workplace terminology. It also includes learner worksheets and an easy to use facilitator's guide as printable PDF documents.
