Aspire's fee structure

What kind of assessments are there in Aspire's e-learning resources?

The type of assessment will depend on the content and the level of the unit. Aspire's e-learning resources use three main types of assessments:

  • Multiple choice
  • Short answer
  • File upload (supporting various file types such as Word, picture and video files).

Assessments are mapped to the unit of competency. There are assessments based on the performance criteria, elements and holistic final assessments.

How are assessments graded?

Some assessments, such as multiple choice quizzes, give instant feedback to the student. Other assessments require grading by the trainer. Aspire's resources contain marking guides for the trainer, including sample answers and benchmark solutions.

Can I use my own e-learning resources along with Aspire's?

Yes. The Webducate LMS is very flexible and allows you to add further online resources or assessments of your choice. You can even develop your own resources within the LMS.

There are a lot of low quality e-learning materials out there. What makes Aspire different?

Aspire's e-learning resources undergo a rigorous development process to ensure they are of the same quality as our workbooks. Our e-learning resources have been developed using principles of online instructional design. Learners and trainers have the opportunity to provide feedback to Aspire on each resource. This feedback will help us ensure our online resources are continuously improved.

My students are not very comfortable using computers. How will they go with e-learning?

Anyone with basic computer skills can use Aspire's e-learning resources. Aspire's e-learning resources use a simple linear structure. The layout and navigation is extremely user friendly. Learners can work through Aspire's e-learning resources at their own pace.

How do I know a learner is submitting their own work for online assessments?

Aspire has a number of measures in place to deter learners from cheating or plagiarising. Learners must submit a declaration that the work they submit is their own. Once in an assessment, learners cannot access other pages in the resource to copy answers. There is also a facility in place that prevents content being copied and pasted.

Can I print or copy Aspire's e-learning resources?

No. The LMS does not allow you to print pages or copy and paste text from Aspire's e-learning resources.

Will I pass audit using Aspire's e-learning resources?

Aspire's e-learning and print materials are support resources. They are developed to meet high quality standards and assessments are mapped to competency standards. They should be used as part of your broader training and assessment strategies.

What happens if something goes wrong technically?
Webducate provides ongoing technical support to get you up and running again as soon as possible.

Can I have a demonstration of Webduate?

Yes. Please contact Webducate on 1300 ELEARN (1300 353 276) or Aspire Learning Resources on 1300 134 099 for more information.
